How investing in hospitality sales & marketing representation can drive recognition, referrals & results.
In the before COVID world, or as I like to call it BC (before COVID), most hotels were able to amble along by sitting back and waiting for the booking requests to roll into their inbox. In a post-COVID world, the booking requests aren’t necessarily falling into those inboxes. Teams are going to have to find business through their own methods & likely the competitive landscape is going to be vastly more crowded than many anticipated.
According to Salesforce, 88% of B2B and B2C customers said that a brand’s trustworthiness mattered more in 2020 than it did in 2019. Travel advisors are strictly vetting suppliers and bringing business to partners they know will deliver and make the process as easy as possible.
I know what you’re thinking…why would I need to detox myself after a vacation? Well, it’s not really about needing to take a trip after your trip. It’s more like, my body just went through multiple time zones, altitudes, temperatures & I may or may not have over-indulged in the food/drink department.
Over the years I have made a short-list, by city, of my absolute favorite hotels. These hotels have made traveling for work a little bit easier & a bit more indulgent. Now that we aren’t traveling for the time being, I decided to re-create the hotel experience (or should I say hotel amenities) that I’ve missed while being on the road.
Stepping into Jackson Hole for the first time I wasn’t really sure what to expect when it came to their cuisine.
So here I am, heading back to the jetway for a long awaited adventure. My last FAM (familiarization) work trip was to Jackson Hole back in Feb so it’s fitting that my first FAM post-pandemic is back to Jackson Hole.
Relying on the airport to provide you with snacks is a thing of the past. While I love a bag of hot Cheetos as much as the next gal, travelling as frequently as I do, I needed a solution to be able to stay healthy while on the move.
It’s that time again Travel Tribe. Finally. I’m sitting at my desk staring at a fun filled multi-day itinerary for am upcoming FAM (familiarization) trip to Jackson Hole, WY.
I’m so excited to be bringing you another ‘First Class Foodie’ write up & actually the first one of 2021! Where has the time gone?! A few things have changed since the new year started and the biggest one of those is that I’m now a vegetarian & pescatarian when I travel!
This past February I embarked on an epic adventure down the east coast to visit family. My original intention was to head over to the theme parks following family-time to enjoy a few days nerding out; especially since it’s no secret I am both a Harry Potter & Star Wars fan.
Ok, let’s call January a tester month, shall we? My new year is officially beginning with February. I’m not sure what it is about this month, but I tend to feel extra inspired & excited to set goals for the coming year. While I’m not one to make ‘new year’s resolutions’ (although perhaps I should cut the alcohol), I am a proponent of constant self-improvement. ‘New year, new me’ and all that jazz…
I’m sure the majority of us have been on a coronacoaster this year: the ups and downs of a pandemic. One day you’re loving your bubble, doing workouts, baking banana bread and going for long walks and the next you’re crying, drinking tequila for breakfast and missing people you don’t even like… I hope I’m not the only one.
